We provide comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses and help patients with their eye and vision concerns related to a range of conditions such as diabetes, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eyes, and allergies.

 

On-Site Optical Lab

To accommodate our patients' busy schedules, our on-site optical lab is equipped with an advanced Santinelli lens edger system. Not only does this let us to precisely cut, shape and fit eyewear lenses in-house, but it also shortens the waiting time for getting new glasses for most patients. After you've selected your frames, your lenses no longer need to be shipped out to a different lab to be prepared. This allows us offer high-quality next-day service to patients with most single vision near-sighted lenses.

 
 

Glasses Adjustments

Are your glasses slipping off your nose all the time?  If that’s the case, we are more than happy to adjust or repair your eyewear, if purchased in the Big Island Vision Center store. We will not repair eyewear from other retailers, thank you for your understanding.

Want to try on some glasses? We carry a large variety of both affordable and designer eyeglasses and sunglasses to suit a wide range of personal budgets and style preferences. We offer affordable frame and lens single vision packages (with selected frames) starting at $52.08.  We also carry many top name-brand frames from Oakley, Dragon, Ray-Ban, Kate Spade, DKNY, Tiffany & Co., and more. Our frames are available metal, plastic, rimless and semi-rimless styles and we carry them in both adult and children sizes.  Our store also has a great selection of sunglasses with UVA and UVB protection.  Ask about our other available features including Transitions, polarized and/or tinted lenses.  These options are designed to maximize clarity, contrast, and reduce glare in a variety of environmental conditions, making them ideal for driving, fishing,  golfing, and more.
